Light Unto My Path

• "Thy Word is a Lamp Unto My Feet" -  You can see your way as the light radiating out from the lamp is held out in front of you.  Not only is the light shinning on the path you travel, but the light falls on the holder.  Therefore as we use the Word of God, it casts it's light on the "way we should go" but also on the reader.  "All scripture (the Word) is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" 2 Timothy 3:16 (emphasis mine)  So the Word of God is good for our use in showing us a need, our sin, a way out which is our salvation through Jesus Christ.
• "and a Light Unto My Path."  The light of a lamp also brightens the pathway so that we can see where we are going and avoid tripping and falling.  The lamp is in our control.  We can use it as intended or discard it and try to find our way.  Either way the path is there for us to take, but without the the Holy Spirit, through the Word showing us the way man would be lost.  We must take the Word of God and use it.  The lamp keeps burning with the oil of the Holy Spirit.   It must not only be used as a light to our feet (for our spiritual eyes,  our heads with knowledge) but to show our path, to direct us in the ways of righteousness in our conversation, our actions and decisions as we travel through this world so that we do not take the wrong or false ways, but always a  step in the right direction. 

Our Mission Purpose is to create a web site where anyone can visit for various Bible Studies from Teachers and Preachers of the Word of God.  Our plan is to open the site to all like minded teachers and preachers to expand the number of studies and topics, so that students who want to become deeper students of the Bible will have a trusted place to go.
